About My Family

I was born June 15, 1972 in Philadelphia to my parents June and Gerald DiGenero. My father was an accountant, now retired, and my mother was a stay-at-home mother, to me and my siblings, but worked part-time on the weekends at the grocery store right down the street. I am the middle child of two brothers; the eldest, Daniel (Dan), and the youngest Edward (Eddie).

Three years after meeting Robert, he proposed, and we had the wedding ceremony six months later.  My first born child, Madison, was born January 10, 2003. I realized pregnancy wasn't nearly as bad as they make it seem on TV.

Aiden was born May 6, 2008. Madison was so excited to get a little baby brother. Throughout my pregnancy, she kept telling me she knew it was going to be a baby boy. Three months before Aiden was due, when driving home from my mother's one night we got in a car accident. Everyone was okay, but I worried about my baby. The doctors said he would be fine, and three months later he came out big and healthy (9 pounds 6 ounces!).

We also have a cat named Winter that we found last winter wandering around the neighborhood. I bought some cat food and started putting it out on the porch every night until she got used to us enough that we could let her in the house. The kids love her, and she is the sweetest cat I've ever had.

What is a QR Code?

QR (quick response) codes were invented to be scanned and decoded very quickly. I've only first seen them showing up mid-2011, but they've actually been around for much longer.
